Spectrum usage and radio planning implications, including the move towards small cells and heterogeneous networks are presented. Finally, LTE Advanced is discussed..…more

Small Cells: 9-10 March 2015 (2 x 1/2 day sessions)

This programme focuses squarely on small cell deployment and cost effective implementation within a multi-RAT (Radio Access Technology) environment. Small and Femtocell operation and deployment, the use of WiFi as a complementary technology, and the full adoption of the Heterogeneous Network (Het Net) concept are all explored and presented in some detail…more

Conduct of the Training

live-on-webThe 2 x 1/2 day training sessions are delivered using our Adobe Virtual Classroom platform and scheduled from 2pm UK time (including breaks).

All you need is a suitable computer with sound capabilities, and an internet connection with an acceptable speed of connection that is free from fire-wall restrictions (talk to your IT department if concerned). You can test your connection beforehand, and we will record the sessions in case you experience connections problems or for later viewing / consolidation. Student microphones are not normally enabled (primarily to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for all), but we do strive to make the training as interactive as possible, and both questions and contributions are encouraged. The trainers are available after the programme to field additional questions and to provide support as required. The presentations themselves are downloadable.
