13:00-14:00: Mini Training Session: Broadband 101

This provides an excellent overview of broadband technologies, including the

capabilities, limitations and implementation options, as well the drivers for

adoption. Current and advanced copper, fibre and radio technologies are all

explored and compared.

15:00-16:00: Mini Training Session: Mobile Broadband and LTE

Current and next generation mobile broadband is presented, with a focus on the

evolution through from HSPA to HSPA+ and then LTE. The advanced radio

features are explored as well as the radio access network (eUTRAN) and Evolved

Packet Core (EPC).
